Service Policy

Services Offered:

We provide onsite technical services such as oil changes, troubleshooting and repair for small to medium engines and electro-technical equipment. Services are performed at the client's location.

 

Call-Out Pricing:

Call-outs are billed by an initial call-out and travel fee (if applicable). Any labour beyond the first 3 hours will be billed extra per hour. Parts and Consumables are charged separately.

 

Travel Fees:

Travel outside of Barrie, Ontario is charged at a rate of $2.50 CAD per kilometre.

 

Parts and Supplies:

Clients can provide their own parts and oil, or we can supply them for the job. A 10% handling fee will be added for any parts/supplies provided by us.

 

Booking:

Appointments and service requests can be made through our Website. Please provide details about the equipment, location, and preferred date/time when booking.

Initial Payment:

Website Bookings Requires the Call-out fee to be paid upfront. Submitting a booking through email however is free, and you will not be charged until all details are confirmed and agreed upon, a 25% deposit will be invoiced to firm-up agreement prior to dispatch of technician. The 25% deposit will be calculated based on an initial estimate and will be put towards the final charge.

 

Refunds and Calculations:

Any reasonable refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If we have already started the process to obtain, order or source any parts, the 10% handling/admin fee will be withheld and not refunded. Any cancellations on short notice - less than one day's notice - will forfeit the full deposit.

 

Client Agreement:

By submitting the 25% deposit or Call-out Fee via the Website as outlined, the client agrees to the defined scope of work and any disclosed limitations, hazards or known issues with their equipment. Upon completion of services and payment of the final invoice, the client acknowledges that all work was carried out satisfactorily and to their approval. Clients are advised to thoroughly review the scope of work and inspect the serviced equipment before providing final payment. Any outstanding issues must be reported promptly before final payment is made.
